Join us as we paint, stamp and embellish a thrift-store shoe transforming it into a beautiful work of art.  You will be proud to display this artwork in your home or create it special for someone you love.  Bring to class a basic stamping kit including favorite stamp sayings and images.  Old clothes or a painting smock are also recommended.  If you are creating to your own theme, you may wish to bring some 3D collage elements as well.  Miscellaneous collage images, 3D items and all other required supplies will be provided.

You will have plenty to do in this fast paced and fun class!!!  You will move from table to table and make up to 10 cards.  You will be given the paper supplies and envelopes for all cards, so your cards are ready to send to your friends (or keep for yourself because they are too good to give away!).  Use some of our die cuts to make Bib Cards, Circle Scallop Cards, Scallop Layerd Cards, Window Overlay Cards and more – maybe even learn a new technique.  Work at your own speed – work fast to finish all the cards or work leisurely and finish your favorites.  This is a fun class to take with friends or make new friends as you stamp your heart out for 2 hours!  This is a moving class so students must be mobile to move from table to table.

Have you been wondering just what makes Copic markers so great?  Do you have some Copics and feel that you are not using them to their full potential?  Have you been debating about buying some, but just aren’t sure if you need another marker?  If you answered yes to any of these questions then you will definitely want to atted this class!  It will be hands on, however you will not be completing finished cards.  We will be practicing the different techniques to get beautiful blended images including achieveing realistic flesh tones.  A systematic method for choosing markers will be discussed and demonstrated.  A FREE Copic color blender is included with price of the class.  You will leave this class knowing how to use your Copic markers as a real tool instead of a very expensive crayon just for coloring.  All levels wecome and all supplies are included!  Just bring YOU!

Let me introduce you to the wonderful world of printable acetate!  Or maybe you have already been introduced and love it as much as I do.  Either way, come and have fun making 10 cards for different occasions.  Use Window Cards and overlays, along with pictures printed on multi-purpose acetate, to make stunning yet easy cards!  Black & white pictures look like negatives, but with the acetate they can be sized to way you want.  Whether you want the black & white look or you want to print your pictures in color, you can personalize ANY card by using your own photos or finding awesome pictures on the internet.  Learn how to get your pictures from your camera (or CD, or internet) onto your computer and then printed on acetate using an ink jet printer.  Students to bring:  your favorite 2 sided adhesive (preferable some type of 2 sided tape…not glue)  This is a moving class, so students must be mobile to move from table to table.

In the intermediate class we will go over different colors for skin tones, hair coloring, textures and air-brushing.  There is an exciting background I just might have to show you and I will also show you how to make your own glimmer spray.  This will be a hands on class of techniques.  Please know the basics of Copic markers before taking this class.  Basic information will not be part of the class.  All supplies included but you MUST know basic Copic skills.

It’s time for some “action”…interactive card action, that is!  Learn how to create 4 different cards featuring Inky Antics stamps:  a fun GIFT CARD POP-UP (containing its own built-in mini envelope), a PENNY TILTER (with back & forth swinging movement), an adorable CENTER-CUT SLIDER (watch the image go up and down), and a TRIPLE-TIERED SLIDER (which cleverly hides 2 messages until the tab is pulled to reveal them).  You’re sure to love this exciting lineup of all new moving cards!  As always, your class kit will include full color instructions so you can make these projects again at home.  Students to bring:  detail scissors (for precision cutting), a 5 yard roll of ¼” red-lined tape, tweezers to pull the red-lined tape strips (optional) and an adhesive runner (or double-sided tape).  Red-lined tape and tweezers may be purchased at the start of class if desired.

We will fold up 3 of our Fundy Fold Projects!  Make a concertina book kit, which has mini windows and accordian like folds to make a cute and interesting little stamping project.  The Funky Fold Accordian will be stamped and decorated with embellishments.  This card can be hand scored and hand die cut, but what a nightmare!  Your time is much better used decorating this card, and less headaches too!  Our NEW Diamond Fold Accordian can either be stamped as a card or use as a Mini Scrapbook.  This is reminescent of an Explosion Card – but all of the work is done for you!  We will stamp using a festive variety with a birthday theme, but if you want to make into a Mini Scrapbook, bring photos to adhere.  Students to Bring:  your favorite 2 sided adhesive (preferably some type of 2 sided tape, not glue)
